Yesterday I started a small purse for a friend. Next Friday we'll gather for her birthday and I'll be presenting this purse to her.I used my favorite Japanese yarn dyed "sakizome" fabrics for the background and again Japanese "konuno" old kimono fabrics for the yoyo embellishments. I have still lots of konuno yoyos at hand and I'm thinking about using them like this. Actually I made them for a yoyo hat project but I couldn't figure out how to sew it, so I gave up the project half way.
